The deadline is up and it seems a free trade deal with the UK is very close but it’s not a done deal yet. British media is reporting that an agreement in principle could come as early as tonight as the aim was to reach a deal in August. However, a New Zealand foreign affairs and trade spokesperson says there is still some work to do to reach the right deal, but progress is still being made. Watch this space.
