As we go to air Groundswell NZ was still waiting to hear from the Prime Minister in response to its national protests held a month ago today. The farming organisation gave Jacinda Ardern until today to respond, to their protests over regulations being proposed on the agriculture industry. Co-founder Laurence Paterson says there has been no direct contact from the Prime Minister’s office since the nationwide Howl of a Protest. The protest involved thousands of participants in 50 towns and cities around the country. Groundswell NZ has made plans for its next course of action which are due to be announced.
