Some critical workers will be able to use a negative Rapid Antigen Test or RAT to get them out of self isolating early. The government is now fine tuning the criteria for these critical workers who are generally needed to do their jobs if there is a risk to the welfare of people or animals. This will cover essential supply chain workers, particularly those involved in providing food. Federated Farmers and industry leaders have met MPI and Feds President Andrew Hoggard says it is important that the entire food chain can keep going. Businesses will have to join a critical worker register in the next few weeks.
