Organics New Zealand’s ‘Taking Action for a Better New Zealand’s’ strategy is aiming at organics contributing $4.7 billion to New Zealand’s GDP by 2030. OANZ chief executive Viv Williams says they want to support more growers to meet organic standards, and collaborate with regenerative growers to deliver the best of both worlds. Regenerative is the new buzz word but to all intents and purposes Regen Farming is very close to organic without the certification with many Regen farmers going on to get that certification. And while Regenerative Farming is now well known in the industry, consumers don ‘t really know the difference. Viv Williams says internationally consumers know more about organics.
