The three waters controversy is set to grow with the Government seemingly throwing down the gauntlet and pressing ahead with taking control of drinking, sewerage and storm water away from local councils and putting it in the hands for four new entities. Federated Farmers President Andrew Hoggard says he is gobsmacked that the Government has seemingly ignored the overwhelming opposition with only 7 Mayors out of 67 showing any agreement to the changes.
