The Road Transport Forum is seeking clarity and communication from the Government over threats to make truck drivers get a Covid test every three days. Forum Chief Executive Nick Leggatt says there is too much pontificating from the pulpit. Last week Director General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield suggested truckies should be tested .. but Nick Leggatt says there is not thought given to the implications of up to two hours out of a drivers day simply to take a test.
