The weather has improved for the South Island Fieldays this year being held at Kirwee in Canterbury. The Fieldays are held at Kirwee every second year , alternating with the Southern Fieldays at Waimumu near Gore. The main aim of the South Island Agricultural Field Days is to give farmers and others in the rural sector the opportunity to see the latest ag machinery on the market and particularly home-grown products. But it seems its main attraction is the opportunity to have a day out and catch up with folks.
