The Act Party unveiled its primary industries policies at Fieldays, with its Standing up for Rural New Zealand policy document announced by party leader David Seymour, MP Mark Cameron and ex-Fed Farmers president Andrew Hoggard and features scrapping the Zero Carbon Bill, tying emissions prices to that of New Zealand’s five main trading partners, ditching Three Waters and restarting live animal exports. Party Leader David Seymour told Mark Leishman that even though he represents Epsom he feels at home at Fieldays.
