A big celebration for the Dairy Women’s Network in Waikato today as the organisation turns 25. DWN’s mission is to foster education, connection and leadership opportunities within the dairy sector and the quarter-century milestone was one of a number of events around the country connecting with as many of its members as possible.DWN chief executive Jules Benton says the major event today brought all of its business partners together to acknowledge their support over the years. She says while the dairy industry has changed immensely over the past 25 years DWN’s focus on people has not. She says it is about connection and empowering those who are part of the sector and ultimately bringing the next generation of farmers through based on strong values and the love of what they do in the dairy sector within their farming businesses and teams.
