Hawkes Bay is one of the biggest deer growing regions of NZ and deer farmers are having to resort to drones to track down some of their livestock that fled during the Cyclone. With expensive deer fencing obliterated by the flooding the deer either floated free or just ran off and Deer Industry NZ CEO Innes Moffatt says now the task is to find these expensive wandering stock.
