Farmers in Taranaki have warned the loss of livestock exports will be felt throughout the region as the last cattle carrier left port last week ahead of a nationwide ban coming into force on Sunday. Feds Taranaki President Mark Hooper says while there would be some big dairy operations within Taranaki that would suffer by not being able to export live stock, the ban will be felt almost universally.
